There are many resources and support services that can help Alphas learn about and successfully live with their AAT deficiency.

Baxter offers a number of valuable insurance support resources to assist Alphas in dealing with complex financial and reimbursement issues.

In the Resources from Baxter section, learn about ARALAST AATmosphere, a program that offers support to Alphas and their families. You can request the Living With AAT Deficiency Patient Stories DVD and the helpful Patient Education Kit.

ARALAST [Alpha₁-Proteinase Inhibitor (Human)] is indicated for chronic augmentation therapy in patients having congenital deficiency of A₁-PI with clinically evident emphysema. ARALAST is not indicated as therapy for lung disease patients in whom congenital A₁-PI deficiency has not been established.
