Getting Started on ARALAST
Now that your healthcare provider has recommended that you begin augmentation therapy with ARALAST, you probably have many questions. In this section of the website, you can find out what to expect when you receive your treatments and the step-by-step process for getting started.
Many Alphas find it convenient to receive their therapy at home. You can learn about the benefits of home infusions through a specialty homecare company and decide if home care may be right for you.
Be sure to talk to your doctor about the Easy Start Sample Program. It may be possible for you to receive a complimentary two-week sample supply of ARALAST.
You will also want to order a complimentary Patient Education Kit that includes many materials to help you better understand, manage, and live with Alpha-1.
ARALAST [Alpha1-Proteinase Inhibitor (Human)] is indicated for chronic augmentation therapy in patients having congenital deficiency of A1-PI with clinically evident emphysema. ARALAST is not indicated as therapy for lung disease patients in whom congenital A1-PI deficiency has not been established.
